"Be still, and know that I am God."

I believe God allows dark valleys in the lives of his children so he can teach us to trust him. During those times, we don't know where we're going, we can't turn around, we can't get off the trail. Nothing happens because we're so tightly holding onto the reins of life, trying to force things to go our way.

God asks then that we simply let go and let him lead. As Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still, and know that I am God."
